Kinder Prep Montessori follows its own closure calendar, independent of the NYC DOE school calendar. That means we are open on many days when public schools are closed, giving your family more consistent, reliable childcare throughout the year. The dates below reflect our planned closures for 2026 and 2027.
Kinder Prep is open on most NYC DOE closure days. Our calendar is independently set to maximize availability for Brooklyn families.
