Renata was born in Odessa, Ukraine. She came to New York when she was six years old. She attended Hunter college and earned a dual Masters in Education and Special Education before entering the field as a teacher and a child therapist. After growing as an educator, Renata decided to open her own Childcare center that offers each child an individual approach to grow and succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Renata was always inspired by the philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori and values the importance of a creative curriculum that focuses on developmentally and academically appropriate goals and objectives.
As a mother of two young children, Renata understands first hand that children learn at their own pace and believes in the importance of creating a loving, nurturing, and safe environment built around children’s limitless curiosity and natural desire to learn.
Irina grew up in New York and earned a Masters degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. She worked as a SEIT for many years providing therapy to children with special needs. As a passionate artist, Irina earned a degree in Musical Arts from the Perm State University in Russia, specializing in the piano and violin. She is a talented artist who enjoys creating portrait sketches in her spare time.
Through her experience, Irina strongly believes that enrichment classes such as art, dance, music, chess, sports, and second language are vital in a learning environment as they individualize strengths and help children develop different skills and interests ultimately leading them to a successful future.
From Margaret: "I am so excited to be a part of the Kinder Prep team and serving the families and the children of the Brooklyn Heights Community. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College. I have over 15 years of experience working with children ranging from the ages of 3 months old to 5 years old. And, over 4 years of experience as an Educational Director. Becoming a teacher and being a part of Early Childhood Education has always been a dream and passion of mine. I remember coming home from school and pretend playing that I was a teacher and had my own classroom in my room.
A little bit about myself: I am proud to be born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. During my free time I enjoy working out, hiking, bike riding, traveling, wine tasting, volunteering at dog shelters, spending time with my friends and family and my dog Daisy.
What convinced me to join the Kinder Prep team is that I truly love and admire what Kinder Prep daycare offers to children. It’s not just a daycare center your prized possessions get to spend the entire day with a team who loves and, is dedicated to providing a loving and nurturing environment. Aside from providing a loving and nurturing environment your child will also grow socially, emotionally and physically. Kinder Prep daycare offers a wide range of enrichment classes that are provided to your children with professionals in each dedicated field. We implement elements of Montessori along with creative curriculum which provides our children with the best of both worlds. All our centers are located almost directly next to a park. However, this center is so fortunate to actually be a part of Brooklyn Bridge Park. We provide daily nutritious food that caters specifically to children, we also offer a vegetarian menu. All of our classrooms have natural sunlight our classroom ratios are very small and we always have extra teachers to ensure the safety of each child.
To me Kinder Prep is not just a daycare it’s a beautiful child friendly structured environment that your child will grow and blossom in. <3
We would love to welcome everyone to Kinder Prep daycare. We look forward to being a part of the Brooklyn Heights Community and providing the best childcare possible for your child."
