She attended Hunter college and earned a dual Masters in Education and Special Education before entering the field as a teacher and a child therapist. After growing as an educator, Renata decided to open her own Childcare center that offers each child an individual approach to grow and succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Renata was always inspired by the philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori and values the importance of a creative curriculum that focuses on developmentally and academically appropriate goals and objectives.

Hello, my name is Toni Timmerman, and I’m so proud to be a part of such a strong leadership team here at Kinder Prep. I’m a graduate of Wagner College, where I received my Master’s in Early Childhood Special/General Education and my Bachelor’s in Childhood Special/General Education and Theatre Studies/Speech. I hold 4 separate NYS DOE teaching certifications, ranging from birth through 6th grade, in both special and general education. I have been teaching professionally for over 7 years and have held the position of Educational Director for the last 3 years. I am extremely dedicated to the Montessori method, as it was the basis for my early childhood education throughout graduate school. I have also led Montessori based classrooms for the majority of my teaching years. I enjoy using the Montessori method to instill independence and a love of learning in young children. On a personal note, I am very family-oriented and love to travel and explore new places in my spare time. I have a love of theatre, music, and the arts and I often incorporate them into my personal pedagogy, as I understand how important they are in a young child’s educational experience. Early Childhood Education is a passion that is very close to my heart and I am looking forward to using my skill set to support all of our unique young learners!

I am overjoyed to be an anchor amongst the Kinder Prep Montessori team! I have been dedicated to Early Childhood Education for seventeen years, with a Masters degree in Childhood Education, and NYS professional certification.
I am overjoyed to be an anchor amongst the Kinder Prep Montessori team! I have been dedicated to Early Childhood Education for seventeen years, with a Masters degree in Childhood Education, and NYS professional certification. Dearest to my heart is the Montessori method, as I hold 3-6 Early Childhood AMS certification from West Side Montessori-TEP. Everything about how Montessori honors children and growing learners is what I respect and aim for in this field.
My personal interests include a love for traveling and visiting friends and family across the globe. I speak Spanish and Portuguese and enjoy a multicultural world, especially languages and cuisine.
During my career I also lived in Shanghai where I joined a dynamic administrative team and have been in management for the past seven years. Overall, child centered learning is my passion, as learning through play is the magical model for young learners. I am honored to continue setting the foundational stage of a child’s educational journey at Kinder Prep Montessori School.

My name is Nicole and I'm so excited to be part of the infant team here at Kinder Prep! I have over seven years of experience working with infants in different daycare centers, and my journey in early childhood education first began in Ecuador, where I discovered my love for nurturing and guiding young children. As both a teacher and a mom to a sweet boy, I understand how important it is for little ones to have a safe, loving, and engaging environment. I have had the joy of working hands-on with infants as young as three months, supporting their growth through activities like reading, singing, and play that encourage their development. Seeing babies learn and thrive brings me so much happiness and fulfillment. Joining Kinder Prep is truly an honor for me. My goal is to make every baby feel safe, cared for, and celebrated each day.

Being trustworthy, reliable, and responsible are amongst my top pillars of this incredible field. Next being creative and passionately seeking the creative arts in my free time to paint and dance are also important to me.
In addition to working in early childhood, I also work with for teen-aged young adults in my church and also I had the experience of being a camp guide. My studies have been focused on Speech Therapy, so I like teaching and working with children on how to develop their language skills. In addition to the fun day ahead, children also learn Spanish with me!

Hello everyone my name is Rahman! I'm a certified Teacher Assistant and a professional Child Care Provider for the last ten years. This fall I'll be continuing my education in Early Childhood Education at Brooklyn College. I have three amazing daughters, eighteen outstanding nieces and nephews. I enjoy spending time with my Family & friends. I love to read, dance, watch tennis and travel. Being around kids has taught me patience and at times you have to put yourself in their little shoes. One of the things that makes me smile with kids is that you know they may not be paying attention but they're definitely listening. That lets me know I'm doing something right. I plan on continuing to share my unique experiences with Kinder Prep Brooklyn Heights. What I hope for all the kids is, when they transition into chapters of their life's that it's ok to fly a kite, jump in puddles, pretend, build a fort, play in the rain, pick your nose, run around barefoot & imagine. Dream big & whatever they decide to be in life make sure it makes them happy.

My name is Victoria Wallak and I have been working in childcare for more than ten years with children from the ages of 3 months to 5 years old while also going to school to continue my education in Elementary and Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology. From an early age I knew I wanted to work with children as I am the oldest of 8 siblings and have always found joy in teaching and helping them grow. Being the Director here at Kinder Prep gives me the opportunity to bring all the knowledge I have in the classrooms to the center I have been with for almost three years. I was fascinated by Kinder Prep from the first day I came in for my interview because of the amount of care they truly put into their centers. The owners Renata and Irina always listened to my ideas and allowed me to grow as a teacher while exploring my teaching abilities. When I was promoted to assistant director I found a different love I had not experienced in child care. Being a part of a team that truly puts the kids first and offers them the best education and resources available to them while also putting the families and their needs first was inspiring.
I give my all to the children here at Kinder Prep and truly do consider my parents, children, and staff our family. I will always put them first and offer the best care I can while also being as supportive and communicative through the children’s early education journey.

It is most rewarding to see the progress as each child emerges as a different child from one’s classroom than when they first began. My goal is to help children discover and explore their own potential for learning and gain the confidence to apply what they learn to their own world.

With a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, I've dedicated over 18 years -and counting-to the field of early childhood education. During that time, I've had the privilege of supporting young learners through some of their most formative years. I believe that childhood should be filled with meaningful, joyful, and developmentally rich experiences-and I strive every day to make those moments count for every child in my care.
I'm passionate about fostering curiosity, confidence, and compassion in each of my students. Whether we're exploring the alphabet, experimenting with colors, or working through social-emotional milestones, I aim to create a space where children feel seen, safe, and celebrated.
I also believe that life is what we make it-so why not make it fun? A sense of joy, wonder, and humor is at the heart of everything I do, both in and out of the classroom.
I'm looking forward to growing alongside this amazing team and helping shape the bright futures of the Kinder Prep community!

I come from the beautiful country of Georgia and bring with me over five years of experience working with children from 3 months to 4 years old. Supporting young children during their earliest years brings me so much joy, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment where they can thrive.
As your child’s teacher, I aim to foster a space where they feel loved, supported, and free to explore the world around them. Through play, discovery, and lots of laughter, I’m committed to helping each child grow with confidence and curiosity.
I look forward to getting to know each of your little ones and building strong, supportive relationships with families along the way. Let’s make this a joyful and memorable year filled with learning, laughter, and love!

Hi, I’m Ms. Teo, and I’m excited to be part of the team as an Assistant Teacher. I’ve been working in early childhood education since 2021, with over three years of experience supporting young children in daycare settings.
In my role, I work closely with lead teachers to maintain a calm, nurturing classroom where children feel safe, supported, and free to explore. I enjoy engaging children in age-appropriate routines, play-based learning, and group activities that encourage growth and curiosity.
Building strong relationships with both children and families is important to me, and I’m committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment every day. I’m passionate about helping children develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively, and I look forward to continuing this meaningful work as part of the team.
