Why Should You Choose Kinder Prep?
Enrichment at No Extra Cost
At many daycare centers, enrichment classes
, such as music sign language, dance, soccer, gymnastics, chess, and foreign language often come at an extra fee. Not with us. We feel that involving children in a wide variety of enrichment activities plays a vital role in their growth and development. Thus, at Kinder Prep, we offer a wide range of enrichment classes taught by professionals in those specific fields at no additional cost to you.
Outdoor Play is a Priority
Exploring and playing outdoors has a myriad of benefits to children. Outdoor play aids in fine and gross motor skill development, instills a love and appreciation for nature, and allows the imagination to soar. For those reasons, we've selected our locations specifically to have a private outdoor space on the premises or be conveniently located in one of the best parks in Brooklyn. When the weather doesn't allow for outdoor play, our centers have plenty of natural light that streams in from floor-to-ceiling windows and large classrooms allow for plenty of movement.
3 Fresh, Nutritious Meals Daily at No Extra Cost
A young child's diet and relationship with food plays a vital role in their development and sets the tone for their food preferences and habits for the rest of their lives. Now is the time to introduce your child to a variety of healthy foods and allow them to explore different flavors while still fulfilling their nutritional needs. Unlike many centers that require you to supply your child's meals, Kinder Prep takes that burden off your plate by providing nutritious breakfast, lunch, and pm snack meals
as well as offering vegetarian options and catering to dietary restrictions and food allergies.
Flexible Schedule & Open All Year Round
Need full-time care past 5:00pm? Want to spend dinners with your little one and only sign up for part-time care? No problem! Kinder Prep has options that offer flexibility for families with all types of schedules. Check out our programs and pricing pages for Brooklyn Heights and Williamsburg for scheduling options. Did we also mention that we're open all year round aside from national holidays? Unlike many other daycare centers that are closed for the summer or observe extended breaks, you can always count on our center to provide the best care to your child(ren) all year round.
No Annual Contract
As new parents ourselves, we've quickly learned that committing to something months, or even a year from now, is challenging. We don't know what the next week holds, let alone the next year! For this specific reason, we give families the option to pay their tuition on a month-to-month basis. Need to take a trip? Prefer to take a temporary break from daycare? We understand! At Kinder Prep, there is no annual commitment unlike in the majority of other daycare centers - you can make the best decision for your family and child each month.
Strict Cleaning/Sanitizing and Covid-19 Preventative Measures
Following a strict cleaning and sanitizing schedule, enforcing vaccinations across all staff, and frequent Covid-19 testing mandates are a small fraction of the Covid-19 preventative measures we've put in place at all our centers. We have a member on staff whose sole responsibility is to clean, sanitize, and disinfect the surfaces and shared spaces throughout our center. The health of our children, families, and staff is our highest priority, and we will continue to provide a clean and safe environment for everyone attending our center.
Educationally Enriched Curriculum
We encourage learning through our daily educational activities. We incorporate Creative Curriculum, elements of Montessori, and our diverse enrichment program under the guidance of nurturing professionals and experienced staff, to encourage each child's confidence in their abilities and sensitivity to the needs of others. The Creative Curriculum is an outline that emphasizes social and emotional development to help children acquire essential skills for success in school and personal life. Children are taught skills through thematic topics such as "All About me", transportation, aquatic animals, dinosaurs and more. Through hands on activities, children learn daily-life skills such as setting the table, and cleaning up after themselves, as well as social and communication skills through their interactions with other children.
