At Kinder Prep, our curriculum is carefully designed around Montessori philosophy and Creative Curriculum, specialist-led enrichment, and daily outdoor exploration — creating an environment where children have the freedom to explore, the structure to grow, and the support to become genuinely confident, capable learners from infancy through Pre-K.

At Kinder Prep, we draw deeply from Montessori philosophy to shape how our classrooms feel and function — and that includes what happens beyond the classroom walls. Children are encouraged to choose activities that interest them, engage with hands-on materials, and explore the natural world around them, from our private outdoor spaces to Brooklyn's best parks and waterfronts steps from our centers.
Our educators guide rather than direct, observing each child, understanding their individual pace, and knowing when to step in and when to let curiosity lead.

Creative Curriculum brings intentional, teacher-guided learning to the Kinder Prep classroom, building language, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills through thematic topics that capture children's imaginations. Each theme connects across subjects: a unit on “Around the World” might include geography, storytelling, cooking, music, and collaborative projects all in the same week.
This structured approach ensures every child is developing the foundational skills they need for kindergarten, while making the learning genuinely exciting to be part of.
