About Us
Brooklyn's Home for Exceptional Early Childhood Education Since 2018.
For nearly a decade, children across Brooklyn have grown at Kinder Prep through hands-on play, specialist-led enrichment, and warm teacher relationships that build lasting confidence, curiosity, and independence.
Our blend of Montessori philosophy and Creative Curriculum gives every child the freedom to explore, the support to thrive, and a genuine love of learning that stays with them long after Pre-K.

Our Educational Philosophy
The Best of Montessori and Creative Curriculum — Combined.
At Kinder Prep, we don't follow a single rigid method. We've deliberately combined Montessori philosophy and Creative Curriculum because we believe children learn best when they have both the freedom to explore and the structure to grow.
Montessori nurtures independence, self-direction, and a natural love of learning. Creative Curriculum brings intentional experiences that build language, literacy, and social skills through storytelling, collaboration, and creative play. Together they create classrooms where every child feels known, challenged, and genuinely excited to be there.
Meet Our Leadership Team
Built by Educators. Driven by a Shared Mission.
Kinder Prep was founded by Renata Flider, a teacher, child therapist, and working mom who saw firsthand how transformative the right early childhood environment could be. In 2018, she opened the first Kinder Prep center in Brooklyn with a straightforward belief: every child deserves educators who truly know them, a curriculum that challenges them, and an environment where they feel completely safe to grow.
Five centers later, that belief hasn't changed. What has grown is the team carrying it forward — certified educators and school leaders who bring decades of expertise to every classroom, every day.
Renata Flider
Owner & Founder
Renata founded Kinder Prep after years working as both a teacher and child therapist, and as a working mom who experienced the Montessori method firsthand with her own children. That combination of professional expertise and personal conviction shaped everything about how Kinder Prep works. She holds dual Master's degrees in Education and Special Education from Hunter College and remains actively involved in the growth and direction of every Kinder Prep center.
